Ciao, I'm Bella.

My name is Gabriella, although most know me as Bella. I’m currently exploring full-time opportunities in marketing. I’ll be graduating from Duke University in May of 2018 with a B.A. in psychology, a certificate in markets and management, and a minor in visual media studies.

I've taken a wide range of courses, from graphic design to social psychology of business, to get a better understanding of how brands connect with their consumers. I'm eager to help organizations express their message through visual and written media. To view my resume, scroll to the bottom of this page or download here.

While at Duke, I've been fortunate enough to participate in three study abroad programs. In the summer of 2015, I spent a month in Venice studying the history of Italian food. In the summer of 2016, I spent six weeks traveling across Australia and studying biogeography. In the fall of 2017, I spent a full semester in New York City studying arts and media. During this time, I interned at a marketing agency that focused on film promotions for Warner Bros. and Focus Features accounts.

Fortunately, these trips allowed me the opportunity to explore a lesser known hobby of mine: photography. While I've never taken classes and certainly don't claim to be a professional, I've taken some decent photos and even created a coffee table book for my final project.

Hometown: Tampa, Florida.

Not-So-Hidden Talent: Puns are my bread and butter. I'm constantly churning them out.

Lesser Known Fact: I'm left-handed.

Sports Team: New York Giants

Most Spontaneous Moment: I snuck my way into the 2015 NCAA Championship student section to watch my Blue Devils win #worthit

My Strange Addiction: Sharknado movies and sci-fi disaster films. Prime example of "so bad, it's good".

Proudest Accomplishment: I can perform a one-woman show of Hamilton. Ask and you shall receive.

Favorite Hobby: I've recently begun running to keep myself fit, both mentally and physically. In the past year, I completed my first 10K, 15K, and half marathon. In January of 2018, I ran the Walt Disney World marathon. It's kind of fun to do the impossible, although the pace is slow with this one.

Here's what I've been up to lately... @justaroundtheriverabend
